Navy Lodge Lobby
The mission for this addition and renovation was to provide a friendly, efficient and inviting lobby. The Lodge is intended to be used by Navy personnel or their families who are moving to the San Diego area and are in need of accommodations for an extended stay, averaging from 4 to 8 weeks, while they look for more permanent living arrangements.
The lobby addition was designed to have an upscale ambiance that captures southern California’s bright, uplifting and cheerful coastal elements. The lobby consists of a reception area, lounge, retail area and dining room, which has direct access to an outdoor patio with seating. Support areas include offices and a pantry.
Other elements of the project include restroom upgrades, an addition of an exercise room, and upgraded elevator finishes.
